WANDERLUST #2: DAY THREE AT CAGAYAN VALLEY, UP UP UP UP NORTH! ☺

The day before we left for Cagayan, I researched some tourists spots worth visiting and I stumbled upon a photo of a church inside a cave which we went to on our third day in Cagayan — Callao Cave. The cave has seven chambers, if I’m not mistaken but we only went til the fifth chamber because there was mud all over and the pathway was steep and slippery. The cave experience was amazing despite the fact that ate Ising almost fell in the rocks, which really got metaranta. :-)

WANDERLUST #2: DAY TWO AT PIAT, CAGAYAN VALLEY, UP UP UP UP NORTH! ☺

We went up in the hills where the kubo of Ate Ising’s friend were at. :-) We fed the chickens and we made katay one chicken and turned it into tinola. We also went to the palayan where we found snails (which is my ultimate favorite!) for the ginataang kuhol (yep, escargots if you’re sosyal). The simplicity of their lifestyle there made me want to live there and just forget the city. The place was sooooo peaceful. ♥

WANDERLUST #2: DAY ONE AT PIAT, CAGAYAN VALLEY, UP UP UP NORTH! ☺

My love for bus rides ended when I was forced to sit down & do nothing but sleep for 13 hours. We left Manila at 7 p.m. & arrived at Piat, Cagayan at around 8 a.m. - it was definitely an amazing experience because it was my first time to travel to a very far place with Mama & The Boyfriend. For the first day, we decided to check out the cornfields Ate Ensiang owned and my oh my, were the cornfields far! Hands down to all the farmers who work there everyday! :-)

Welcome to Binondo, please Wok this way! ☺

Weeks before the first semester ended, Bumpy John & I went on a food tour — I’m too lazy to write about it and well, my writing wouldn’t justify to how awesome the tour was so here’s Bumpy John’s version of our tour. Read on, loveys!! ♥

Wanderlust #1: Hong Kong / Day 2!

Had breakfast at the hotel and shared the table with someone who pretty much looked like Elmo Magalona but he was too tall.

City tour in the morning. We went to the Avenue of the Stars, where Jackie Chan’s hand prints were.

Obligatory Hong Kong skyline solo shot. Lol. Hahaha.

We went to the Aberdeen Fishing Village. I chose not to ride in those boat thingies that’s called a Sampan. Ang daming bangka dito sa Pinas eh, pero joke lang. I dislike boat rides, really.

Took photos of myself instead. :)

After going to the mid-level of Victoria Peak, we went straight to Hong Kong Disneyland! I often hear people saying that Disneyland’s the happiest place on earth but I was kinda bored with the rides. Teehee. Maybe cause I’m not a kid anymore? Hahaha.

Me, Mama and Kuya Dini. And again, just like HKIA, Disneyland was so big also. I was so tired from walking but I enjoyed even if the place was filled with kids and couples. Hahaha.

Filipino dolls at the Its A Small World ride. Cutest dolls I’ve ever seen in my life. ♥

Left: Tarzan’s Tree House / Right: Mama & I at Adventureland.

During the Jungle thingy cruise at Disneyland. :)

I bought a Minnie Mouse headband. Teehee. :)

Kuya Dini and I.

Kuya Dini, before riding the train inside Disneyland.

Cinderella’s castle. :)

I can open your eyes, take you wonder by wonder. Synchronized fireworks and music.

Wanderlust #1: Hong Kong / Day 1!

I really didn’t take a lot of photos because everything seemed like a private moment only for me to enjoy. Lol, selfish, I know - but I took some! :)

I did my early morning breakfast devotion at the plane. Yup, that pink book is my bible.

HKIA was so freaking huge. If I were to travel by myself, I would definitely feel smaller. Hahaha. Seriously, NAIA is no match.

We didn’t want to spend so much on expensive food in restaurants so we had brunch at a small street food place. I could say that their food there is better than Luk Foo’s.

Kuya Dini and Mama.

Me and Kuya Dini, after eating. :)

We stayed at Dorsett Seaview Hotel. The one in Shanghai Street which was next to Temple Street where the Night Market was so shopping for little HK trinkets and accessories was so easy for us. Also, Nathan Road was just two streets away from our hotel so really, Dorsett was a nice choice. :)

Kuya Dini and I walking to the Ladies Market. :)

Right after shopping, we went to watch the Symphony of Lights. It was so beautiful though my photos don’t give justice to how awesome the show was.

Mama dearest. :)

Ended the day by taking photos of myself, thus looking like a kid from a horror movie. Teehee.
